In Red Lion, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Pennsylvania, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 8:30 amโ4:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (717) 244-4496. Customers rate it 4.8 out of 5 on Google across 17 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded plant nurseries in Red Lion.
Red Lion is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Red Lion follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

What a gem! The fact that the owners request that we cut the trees leaving a few branches at the base in order for the tree to regenerate blew my mind! What a stewart for nature - Iโll gladly return!

Best tree quality I have ever seen in York County! No frills here but it is the absolute real deal. They provide a saw and take card payments.

This is the real deal if you're looking to actually walk through the woods and cut down your own christmas tree. You will need to carry it back and strap it yourself. I highly recommend and Its run by a sweet older couple.

Was really having a hard time getting to their farm during open hours due to my work hours and the day my teenager was finally free to run over there the woman who takes credit cards had left because it had rained earlier. She lets us know during our phone call that the he elderly man she said was still there isn't able to help my son strap the tree to his car. While trying to work out the logistics so we could manage to get a tree, the woman on the phone hung up on us! Highly DON'T recommend!

Pam is so sweet and knowledgeable. If you are looking for a REAL rustic โNational Lampoons Vacationโ adventure to cut your perfect tree, this is the place. Hike up the hill to the right or left depending on the type of tree you desire. Canaan, Frasier, Douglas to name a few. CUT YOUR TREE LEAVING FRESH GROWTH AT THE TRUNK (about 3 inches if not more), that way the tree will grow back. The farm also plants new trees each year. *Credit cards accepted. *Dogs are welcome. *Fresh cuttings and mantle decorations in bunches. Including boxwood. *Forgot your saw, Pam will lend you one. Be prepared to get your tree in or on your car and truck yourself, bring twine and wrap. There isnโt a shaker or baler. Itโs so peaceful out here, you can come back for nursery plants too! We will be back! Thanks Pam.
